Every doctor will impact the lives of 15,000 to 25,000 patients during their careers.  No other philanthropy or charity offers this magnitude of leverage and ROI.  Approximately 10,000 doctors will begin their professional careers free from the burden, distraction, and stress of debt during the Fund’s first ten years of operation.

Each HBMS will have the legal right to appoint an executive to sit on the Board and co-head its audit and compliance committees.  Grant Thornton LLP will be asked to oversee accounting and conduct semi-annual audits.  The founder, Jay Plourde, will lead the Board in finding professional, experienced executive leadership to manage operations and execute the mission.

The Fund will begin soliciting philanthropic gifts upon completion of the registration process with the State of Pennsylvania and approval of the IRS.
